Meet Karen

Karen, along with her husband Larry, began their journey in real estate over 30 years ago. As Principal, Karen oversees operations for KL including property and construction management, development, project financing and investor relationships. With support from family members over the years, she and Larry have built a steady presence and stellar reputation in the DC real estate market.

A native New Yorker, Karen moved to Washington, DC to attend Howard University, where she received a BS in Civil Engineering. Not long after graduating, Karen and Larry purchased their first home and investment property. Always the organizer with an eye for detail, it didn’t take long for the entrepreneurial spark to ignite and real estate to become her passion.

Karen leads and inspires the KL Team, modeling a sincere interest in helping others solve their problems and always striving to improve customer service. She is a strong believer that if you help enough people to achieve their goals you will always reach yours.

What does she do for fun?

Karen enjoys eating out, attending arts events, dancing and long walks. Family is equally important. The mother of three young adults, Karen enjoys traveling with her family and entertaining relatives and friends at her home in Crestwood.
